we as a species haven’t always been male dominated

strong common ground for all women to stand on

this was not a country that was always extremist or radical

we are feminists looking for transformative change, radical change

these women were really able to push their narrative so far

the ethos of the Qur’an is absolute egalitarianism

You have to actively mark yourself as a safe place

I’m not safe from whitemalegod in my own thinking

If we see the same thing over and over again, it becomes normal

we can do it, we can tell our own stories and we can sing our own songs
